From the star and director of The Storm Riders and A Man Called Hero comes this turbo-charged action drama. Pop superstar Ekin Cheng is Sky, and underground drag car racer king. After winning yet another race, Sky was framed by his rival's brother Hung (Simon Yam). On the run in Thailand, Sky hooks up with his long lost father (Blackie Ho), himself a legendary racer, who steers his son back on course for the ultimate showdown of speed with Hung. Watch for pop idol Cecilia Cheung (King of Comedy) in a tender performance as Zero, Sky's secret admirer. 

擁有RX-7 跑車的Sky （鄭伊健飾）除了一身貴氣外，他那一流的飛車技術更被年青人視為偶像，當中以趴地熊（譚耀文飾）和謝賢（林曉峰飾）為甚，可惜Sky 只將跑車和女友阿希（林熙蕾飾）放在眼內，喪偈一直不滿Sky 之所為，決要與他在速度上決一勝負，一場生死時速的房車賽從此展開，而Sky 亦終於獲勝，其風采深深吸引著在女童院的涼子（張柏芝飾）。頭號毒犯鄧風（任達華飾）親眼見弟弟喪偈因Sky 而斷腳，決定要為他報仇，怎知此戰卻改變了Sky 一生，除了失去了心愛的阿希外，並發現生父黑鬼東（柯受良飾）下落，更被人插贓嫁禍……
