Synopsis: 

Actor/director Wu Ma helms My Cousin, The Ghost, an eighties horror-comedy that exemplifies the mixed up slapstick and otherworldly weirdness that this unique Hong Kong genre is known for! Mako (Wu Ma) is an unlucky fellow whose life is about to take a silly supernatural turn. He learns that his cheap, annoying cousin Richard (Richard Ng) is coming to Hong Kong to live with him, and that's the last thing Mako wants! Unfortunately - or somewhat fortuitously - Richard dies, but his body goes missing. Oddly, Richard himself shows up in Hong Kong, and between Mako and cousin Yung (Kenny Bee), the two discover that Richard is actually a ghost! But Richard doesn't know, so the duo hires helpful spirit Miss Wang (Wong Wan Si), to help solve their problem. Romance blooms between the two departed souls, but when a third spectre arrives, the problems compound, leading to a slapstick-filled finale! Full of engaging performances and a healthy helping of Hong Kong-style comedy, My Cousin, The Ghost is horror-comedy silliness at its most surprising and entertaining!

八十年代洪金寶與午馬成功炮製《鬼打鬼》、《人嚇鬼》等一系列恐怖動作喜劇，1987年二人再合作《表哥到》，由洪金寶監製，午馬自導自演。戲中由午馬和吳耀漢扮演的表哥弟，由移民英國回港的表哥吳德大（吳耀漢飾）因入住表弟（午馬飾）家並撞鬼的故事，同屋還有由鍾鎮濤、孟海、李志傑與太保飾演四位表兄弟，以及黃韻詩飾演鍾鎮濤的準新娘，而洪曉陽扮演因交通意外身亡而陰魂不散的伴娘女鬼。
