Synopsis:

White Snake (Eva Huang) in the guise of a beautiful woman, she falls in love with a young herbalist. Xu Xian (Raymond Lam). At her own risk but with the help from the Green Snake (Charlene Choi), she is married to Xu Xian in the human world. However, the marriage did not last long as the sorcerer. Fa Ha (Jet Li) of the Zing Shan temple, found out about this unworldly relationship. A furious battle is about to begin.

以斬妖除魔為己任的金山寺法海大師（李連杰飾）帶著其徒能忍（文章飾）遊歷四海，發現杭州城中妖氣沖天，並在治病的藥湯發現妖氣；原來白蛇（黃聖依飾演）與許仙（林峯飾）得青蛇（蔡卓妍飾）引線結為夫婦，及後城中發生疫病，白蛇為償其夫許仙救世唯懷心願，不惜損耗元氣製藥救民。而法海大師（李連杰飾）的出現，是成就抑或結束這段不容於世的宿命姻緣呢?
