Synposis:
After her father died, a Hong Kong girl discovers she has two hitherto unknown sisters, one in Taiwan and one in China. To settle her father's debt, she must reunite with them to run the family's hot pot restaurant. While the androgynous Taiwan sister is plagued by her toxic relationship with her mother, the fashionista sister from China is trying to fend off her grandmother's pressure to get married. 任職旅行社的如樹（鄭秀文飾），善於為人策劃出走行程，卻走不出生命中的不安。
一天，醫院傳來父親夏亮（鍾鎮濤飾）死訊，她一貫冷靜，處理父親後事。
然後才得悉自己原來有兩個同父異母的妹妹，如枝（賴雅妍飾）、如果（李曉峰飾），分別住在台北和重慶。二人最後告別亡父，亦是三姊妹初會。
雖然如樹一直在港與父親生活，其實從沒原諒父親，亦不理解他的心。倒是兩個素昧平生的「妹妹」，給她重新認識父親的機會，並在彼此身上找到血緣羈絆。同時，從父親在醫院認識的陌生人蔡浩山（任賢齊飾）口中，如樹更認識她前所未知的父親為人；而前未婚夫天恩（劉德華飾），亦以包容伴她過渡一切。過往不（願）理解的，似乎漸漸解得開…… 團聚後，終會各奔前程，應對各自生活：如樹對感情的不信任與執着、如枝在事業和母女關係的不如意、如果與相依為命的婆婆終將分離……
