Synopsis:
Sam (Alan Tam) and Crab (Andy Lau) are a pair of skilled gamblers who encounter harrowing hardships when Sam chooses to leave the life. Initially the best of partners, Sam meets a beautiful heiress (Idy Chan) whose father offers to give him a job if he stops swindling others. But Crab is either unable or unwilling to leave the life, and engages the vengeful attention of some Japanese Yakuza. The gangsters strike back at Crab by kidnapping Sam's girl, leading to an explosive climax that will test the brotherhood of the two gambling heroes!
